Sometime in June in Iowa City, and June 11 in Muscatine. Des Moines Hamfest - Craig Rose spoke about this weekend's hamfest in Des Moines. There is no tailgating. Admission is $6.00. AES Superfest - ABØDX showed pictures of the hamfest in Milwaukee, WI, and the club members that attended it. iHAB - Iowa High Altitude Balloon project - April 30, Green Castle Club at Marion School. There will be a VHF repeater and 20 meter beacon. New BusinessField Day - Field Day Shirts for 2011 are available. May Meeting - learning the TS 2000 radios in preparation for Field Day and beyond. Opportunity for a special event station discussed. Enough interest is generated to do something that day. Dues need to be paid if you haven't already. Work started on the Riverboat Foundation Grant. Try 88* on the echolink, it gives weekly updated worldwide amateur news. Muscatine has new echolink node. KCØWWV World Radio has been sold to CQ. Subscriptions to world radio will be turned into CQ.
